Goal on registration form: Grow legs and glutes whilst maintaining a tight midsection.
Victoria is very slim build. She came to me wanting to grow glutes whilst keeping her small waist.
I knew we would have to achieve this in phases.
I talked her through a realistic expectation on what can be achieved and knew immediately that we would have to put her on a slight surplus as distinct from someone who comes to me for weight/fat loss, as i was convinced she ate nowhere near enough of what her body needed to grow. It was going to be a slight surplus to start with to see how her body responds. She would be required to stick to plan as best as possible so we could get her looking a lot fuller, healthier and help her grow the glutes she desires.
A mindset reset was required to help her stay realistic and also reassure her that she needed to trust the process to achieve her glute growth goal.
She was very aware that she would have to eat a lot more in order for us to achieve glute and muscle growth. It was essential that she understood this so she could manage expectations.
We managed to achieve the glute growth that she wanted over a 20 week period. Gaining just under 10lbs.
We then started her on a cut phase which involved slightly but gradually dropping her calories in order to showcase the muscle that we had built over the build phase.
