Reason For Inquiry
Wants to lose body fat and restructure body
Initial Evaluation
Programmed three phases. 1st being an 8 week lean down followed by evaluation and a further 4 week on a leaning phase. Further evaluation then take it to maintenance for 4 weeks.
Previous History / Origin
Hannah has an office job so minimal activity apart from when she has been going to gym three days a week. she has anxiety which leads to chest pain (non heart related) The plan was to re-Introduce her to gym sessions that were well structured and planned in a safe space to start her off and then explore the rest of the gym environment. This was to help her settle in and get her confidence at a good place before starting to push for training with intensity using the whole of the gym floor
She has joint problems relating to her weight so I needed adapt exercises accordingly. She also suffers with anxiety induced by gym training.
Mitigating / Aggravating factors
Joint issues
Hypothesis
Lead her into this program with a view of it being a long game not a quick solution. The idea is to gradually drop body weight/fat so she achieves a good body recomposition. Working on building muscle mass would help her achieve this.
We also needed to educate and focus on her nutrition and ensure she is eating mostly wholesome foods and less processed ones but also allow her treats in the view of trying to make it sustainable long term.
I needed to explain each step clearly so she understood what she needed to be doing week on week and break it down for her so it’s not all too overwhelming.
I wanted to coach her into maintaining consistency through the process.
Expectations
We were looking to lose 1-.1.5 lbs a week based on the calculations of her activity levels and current weight. I expect a gradual drop week on week and a nice outcome in four months.
