Lose weight Burn fat and get toned
Daniella came to me wanting to get back into training. She has been out of gym training for about a year now and has totally forgotten how to do it and lost all confidence in herself whilst attempting to do so.
I planned on guiding her back into training with ease because she wasn’t a novice at lifting.
She was not looking to lose a lot of weight but wanted to tone up and burn fat so we were looking at inch loss as well as a muscle build.
Plan of action was to start her off on a very slight deficit to get things moving before we put her on maintenance or even a small surplus to grow a bit more muscle down the line.
She expressed a desire to be more toned in the lower rather than upper body so we mostly worked on glutes, quads and hamstrings at the start before focusing on upper body work. We still managed to maintain a good balance between the two without over developing one particular area.
Her eating was mostly healthy but just not enough of it due to her being a smoker which can be an appetite suppressant.
We needed to figure out how to get her to either cut down in the hope of eventually quitting or try and get her to eat more wholesome foods in view of getting her body looking and feeling good from the inside out.
We set a plan in place to allow her to be more structured with her food planning, focus on hydration throughout the day and change her day to day habits in order to get her into a good routine that would then help reset her mindset and start prioritising her health and fitness.
We achieved an overall fantastic result as she stuck to plan both nutrition and training wise whilst still enjoying family and social occasions.
